IEI Unveils Next-Generation Intelligent Medical Panel PC Series to Support Growing Digital Transformation in Medical

Taipei, Taiwan, December 13, 2024 — Currently, the medical industry is experiencing rapid growth in digital transformation, driving increased demand for advanced Intelligent all-in-one (AIO) medical panel PCs. In response, IEI, a global leader in edge AI computing technology, has unveiled its latest next-generation intelligent panel PC series—the POCi-W22/24C-RPL.

Designed to align with the medical AI trend, the POCi-RPL series is powered by the latest 13th generation Intel Core i7/i5 processors, delivering high-performance computing capabilities. The internal design is optimized with two M.2 slots, replacing the traditional HDD, enabling larger storage capacity and providing faster data integration and retrieval, effectively reducing workload for medical professionals.

The POCi-RPL features a flexible PCIe x4 expansion slot, allowing users to add various cards to enhance performance such as capture cards or network cards. Its innovative setup design ensures easy access without the need to remove the rear casing.

Meeting DICOM standards, it displays DICOM files directly without requiring additional peripherals. Both the DICOM compatibility and the removal of adapter help to reduce cable clutter and save space, making it ideal for compact medical environments.

To accommodate the needs of medical staff who often operate computers for extended periods, the POCi-RPL series is designed with three-sided ultra-thin bezels, offering a wider field of view and enhancing the overall visual experience. The IP66 front panel design and the selection of detergent-resistant plastic make it convenient for healthcare personnel to clean and operate. It also includes dual reading lights that meets the IEC 62471 standard, providing comfortable and safe lighting for the eyes.
