IMBA-Q170 – Why IMBA-Q170 series boards will not supporting Plug and Play for VGA?
Brief Description
Based on Intel eDP specificationon platform Skylake-S & KabyLake-S, eDP signals are without hot plug detect function support.
Solution
The user has to connect the VGA connector to the monitor before system booting
Remark
VGA output function is supported via the eDP from CPU to VGA converter: Chrontel CH7517.
